Explorers Connect is creating a community of like-minded adventurers online and face-to-face in order to inspire and support everything from local challenges to international expeditions. Explorers Connect was started by Belinda Kirk, After 16years in the adventure industry, she wanted to get adventurers from all disciplines together to share advice and plan new adventures. It started in 2009 with one local group, in Bristol, United Kingdom.

It was such a success that now we’d like to spread the inspiration across the UK and the rest of the world. We currently have groups in Cardiff,  London,  Kendal,  Guildford and Plymouth.

Here are a few of our group organisers:

They include Tori, Maria and Sarah, who between them have climbed Everest, been to the Poles and cycled the world.   Tim, who’s organised expeditions on all seven continents.  Dom a jungle expert and safety consultant.  Al, who has led over 35 international expeditions and is a wilderness medical expert and polar expert Antony.

Explorers Connect offers a one-stop-shop in adventure, one that is open to everyone. EC is home to the world’s adventurers, explorers and independent  travellers. Everyone with a desire for challenge, adventure and exploration is welcome; first-time adventurers, established explorers, field scientists, endurance athletes, climbers and cavers, skydivers and sailors. We also invite medical specialists, kit manufacturers, sponsors, expedition companies and the adventure-media.
