Help us Row the Atlantic and raise £5million for Charity

Do you have any old CDs, Computer Games or Mobile Phones you don’t want any more ? Ocean Rowing Events was set up 3 Years ago with the express mission to raise £1 million for charitable causes by conducting inspiring Ocean based expeditions involving people from all walks in life. We have nearly reached that target and have now set ourselves a more ambitious one. We wish to raise £5million for a panel of 20 chosen charities that is up to £250,000 each.

Your donation can really help. We understand that times are tough at the moment so we are not going to ask you for any money we merely seek the donation of any unwanted music CDs, Video Games or Mobile Phones – any condition working or not – we are very grateful for anything! We can arrange to collect or you can post them (we will refund the postage if you wish) to us at the address below. Whichever is easier for you. Should you choose to donate we will send you a thank you letter, put you name up on our Website (if you wish) and send you a ‘Oar Inspiring’ cross oar emblem Buttonhole badge a small token of our appreciation and recognition of your kind contribution.

Your donation will be used three fold. You will be helping us to fund two charitable Atlantic rowing campaigns see www.oceanrowevents.com for details. Secondly your contribution will make a direct difference to our panel of chosen charities. Thirdly you will be helping to establish a very high profile Annual event which will raise £millions for good causes in it’s own right over the years to come. All this can be achieved through the simple donation of unwanted goods. We are also on the lookout for volunteers who can help us with the cause or indeed you can help immensely by forwarding this e-mail onto your friends who you think may be interested in getting rid of some unwanted goods and helping a great cause. If you work for a company that has unwanted corporate mobile phones or a number of staff that we can inform of this we would love to hear from you. Have a think about it.
