Our good friend Dave Cornthwaite has successfully travelled 2,400 miles along the Mississippi River on a stand up paddleboard (SUP.) Since June 20 he has been paddling from the source in Elk Lake Minnesota, and as he reached the Gulf he also broke the world record for the greatest distance travelled by SUP.

Jock Wishart and his crew of Old Pulteney have completed their extraordinary row to the Magnetic North Pole. The team, including adventurer Mark Beaumont, have become the first to row to any Arctic position.
Ellesmere Island curcumnavigation complete!
Back in May we reported about expedition leader and author Jon Turk setting off to attempt the first circumnavigation of Ellesmere Island in modern times. Now we can offer our congratulations, as he’s completed the incredible feat in 104 days!
